Erallo’s Body Unit functions as an easy to wear miniature data recorder and wireless transceiver/receiver. Like the sensor node, it has the capability to store and pre-process sensor data; however, this unit is used when the data storage requirements are in the megabytes. The battery for the Body Unit can supply power for months. Battery drain depends upon the frequency of sensor data sampling and data transmission.
