All Sensor Types: Analog sensors we’ve worked with include highly sensitive strain gages, temperature, humidity, accelerometers, and pressure sensors. Application-specific customized sensors include blood alcohol, biohazard detection sensors and carbon dioxide nanotube sensors. We’ve also worked with a variety of digital sensors, piezo-electric, and MEMs-based sensors.

Pre-engineered Sensor Components: Erallo’s pre-engineered components are flexible enough to deploy with any type of sensing logic. They include remote and automated control and management; modules for triggering sensing based on schedules, specific pre-defined events or remote messages; alarms and reporting triggered by user-defined parameters, and power optimization routines. (Software Modules)

Control: The objective of our sensor components is to control and acquire measurements from the sensors: turn them on/off, issue commands to read, to process, and to amplify and convert analog voltage into a digital format. The general process to operate an analog sensor works like this: turn on the sensor, turn on the A/D converter, read the analog voltage, convert the voltage reading into a digital format (like millivolts) and then apply sensor parameters to convert the data into usable engineering units (like degrees centigrade). From there, the data is reprocessed and cleaned through signal processing filters (like DSP) and algorithms (like FFT) to produce useful information for decision-making. Or further analyzed through fuzzy logic algorithms.

Erallo has the expertise to integrate all types of commercial and custom sensors into effective network solutions.

Sensors we’ve worked with include:

  • Analog
  • Digital
  • MEMS-based
  • Nanotube/nanosensors
  • Piezo-electric
  • Electro-magnetic
  • Acoustic
